LS3-Powered 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe 6-Speed

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was the subject of a custom build completed in Texas in 2023. The build included installation of a 6.2-liter LS3 V8, a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission, and a 12-bolt rear end with a 3.73:1 Eaton Truetrac differential and 33-spline Moser axles. Exterior

The body was refinished in Magnetic Gray metallic in 2023 by RF Customs in Magnolia, Texas, according to the selling dealer. Exterior modifications include body-color bumpers and trim, Fesler flush-mounted windshield and rear window, tinted glass, an SS-style hood, front and rear spoilers, an RS-style grille with hideaway headlights, Fesler taillights, and Detroit Speed electric windshield wipers.

Interior

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in custom red vinyl, along with a stitched dash pad and coordinated door panels. Interior equipment includes a center console, push-button starting, Vintage Air climate control, a hidden Rockford Fosgate audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, and a configurable Racepak IQ3 digital instrument display. The trunk is trimmed to match and houses an amplifier and an Optima battery. The digital odometer shows approximately 800 miles.

Chassis / Suspension / Brakes

The car rides on Ridetech front spindles, tubular control arms, and adjustable coilovers, along with a rear triangulated four-link setup with adjustable coilovers. Hotchkis subframe connectors are installed, and Detroit Speed mini tubs were fitted for additional tire clearance during the build. The car has power steering and Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. Black-finished 18-inch front and 19-inch rear Forgeline wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

Engine

The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was installed in 2023 and features a Texas Speed Magic Stick camshaft, according to the seller. A Holley Sniper intake manifold and electronic fuel injection system are installed along with an AFCO aluminum radiator, dual electric cooling fans, Motion Raceworks valve covers, billet hood hinges, a smoothed firewall, and a carbon-fiber radiator filler panel.

Drivetrain

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with a 3.73:1 Eaton Truetrac differential and 33-spline Moser axles. Coated headers feed into a stainless dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe and Borla mufflers.
